Duplicate files - they're everywhere. As well as taking up valuable diskspace they make it that much harder to find the files you want.
But that's no longer a problem. With NoDupe, your duplicate files can be a thing of the past in just a few minutes. Simply tell NoDupe where to look, and a few seconds later it'll tell you exactly what files are needlessly eating up space on your system and where they are. It'll even get rid of them for you if you want!
And that's not all. NoDupe can even tell you which directories are exact copies of each other, and find duplicate MP3 even if they don't share the same tags. That's right, even if the files are not binary identical, even if the files have different ID3 tags, if the music's the same then NoDupe can find them! And you can combine these options, looking for directories containing the same MP3 files - a great way to find copies of your music albums.
100% Accuracy
Files are made up 1's and 0's calls bits. Other file matching software does some maths on these (called hashing) to come up with a number used to identify each file. Whilst theoretical math says that the chance of two files with different content having the same number is unlikely it is possible. The only way to know if two files really are identical is to look at each bit of each file - and this is exactly what NoDupe does.
This approach ensures that NoDupe never reports a false positive (a match when there isn't one) and never suffers from false negatives (failing to report a match when there is one).

Simply use the intuitive interface to pick where to look (no need to type in any pathnames) then press Search. That's it! NoDupe will keep you informed of what it's up to do, then when it's finished you'll be shown a list of all duplicates found. Either manually select the files to delete or use the intelligent AutoMark software to do it for you. When you're ready, click Delete to safely remove the files you've selected.
No Limits
